TKC FRIDAY NIGHT POWER RANKINGS!!!

We can't all be as powerful as Denise Milani dressed like a very busty Wonder Woman but we can try.

To wit, check out the most powerful politicos, newsies and coffee places in Kansas City:

POLITICOS

1. Terry Riley - His move to Jackson County is causing a lot of anxiety.

2. Deb Hermann - The beloved Northland lady is in the Mayor's race. She can split the vote across the River but nobody is sure how deep her connections run once she crosses the bridge.

3. Airick L. West - Before the election, he is the sweetheart of the Kansas City political class.

4. Jeff Roe - All by himself he keeps trying to keep the Cleaver spitting drama in the limelight.

5. Phil Levota - In media, law and politics. The Kansas City power broker seems to be quickly raising his profile.

NEWSIES

1. Hey KC Cameraman is this town's most awesome newsie that's always lurking behind the scenes.

2. Joe Miller and his blog are back in action. Be nice.

3. Mahoney blog - The veteran newsie is stepping up his game via his blog that borrows its name from a Dylan song.

4. Kris Ketz - He started off the week as the talk of the newsie blogosphere but still finished strong!!!

5. John Landsberg - The Ref of local media is about to do a redesign.

KANSAS CITY COFFEE PLACES

1. Cafe & - Past St. Patrick's Day this place still serves up some of the best handcrafted coffee in town in a cozy setting.

2. Broadway Cafe - The coffee is made with skill so it makes the hipsters worth enduring.

3. Oak St. Coffee in Brookside - This place has a very calm vibe and it's becoming local, liberal headquarters.

4. K. City Coffee - The River Market Location is prime but I've yet to get a full, comprehensive review. It's still worth checking out.

5. The Filling Station - Not horrible but mostly a place to be seen by politicos.
