TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! TAKE A LOOK AT AN EMPTY KANSAS CITY TROLLEY JAM!!!

I'm somewhat happy to report that traffic was up just a bit for The Kansas City Strip Trolley System. I noticed more people riding the Trolleys from Westport and The P&L District but the vast majority of the vehicles were still only about half full and quite a few remained nearly empty . . . Which isn't a horrible start during colder Springtime weather with impending storms.

Anyhoo . . . What was captured in this photo is two trolleys stuck for about 5 minutes in the middle of Westport. It was about 11:30 in the PM and, if you look closely at my crappy photo, it's clear that both trolleys are empty. Again, it's not a horrible sign for business but just an amusement because I still think the idea is dumb.

Oh Yes Tony. Just like you hate all public transportation, we understand that you think that it is much better for one or two people to burn gas in private cars and drive drunk rather than to let someone else do the driving and share the ride.

We also understand, you hate the environment and hate animals. That seems to be the two constants in your blog going back to your first post. The (deserved) shots at Funkhouser are just window dressing.

I am fully expecting you to endorse Blunt because he is a shill for the Oil Industry, just like you.

  4. Amazing. So on a cold rainy night when nobody is at the bars, and about 1 week after they started, you're telling me the trolley isn't a smash hit?

I would tell you its common sense, but obviously you aren't too common.

  5. Channel 4 just did a lead in report on the failed trolley. Few people are riding it and those that do will only do it once. Too slow and too many idiots on board.

  6. I rode the trolley. Did it but wont do it again. The people that ride it made me feel uncomfortable.
