TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! COUNCIL LADY SHARON SANDERS BROOKS FALLS BEHIND IN HER CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTING!!!
There is a great deal of speculation as to why 3rd District Council Lady Sharon Sanders Brooks has failed to file a campaign finance report this year.
Her report for January is nowhere to be found and the April report is due in a little more than a week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Maybe she hasn't filed because the Missouri Ethics Commission is mostly asleep at the wheel when it comes to keeping up with candidates.
Maybe she just doesn't have any money . . . However she did have a somewhat successful fundraiser a few weeks ago according to AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS.
Still . . . The point is, in what is basically the beginning of election season . . .
COUNCIL LADY BROOKS SHOULD BE KEEPING ABREAST OF HER CAMPAIGN FINANCE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS!!!
Seriously, if she has the courage to show off underwear in public then taking the time to fill out a report that takes little more than an hour shouldn't be a big deal.
Then again, there is the chance that she's decided to call it quits. Michael Fletcher is a serious candidate in the 3rd District who has already been hard at work strengthening ongoing political connections and making news in Kansas City. Also, Fletcher is a seasoned political veteran and people who donate to Brooks know that should Fletcher win he will definitely remember his opposition and it'll be to their disadvantage.
ESSENTIALLY, WHAT I'M HEARING IS THAT MICHAEL FLETCHER HAS BASICALLY CUT OFF THE FUNDING FROM SHARON SANDERS BROOKS!!!
So she might not have much to report . . . But she should still get her paper work in order.

ReplyDeleteShe didn't file her report because it will show she has less than $1,000 or $2,000 while Fletcher is sitting on $25,000 and she is the incumbant.

ReplyDeleteHere is the total truth and I know it is not politically correct but I think Fletcher will fight for the city and stand up for regular people.
ReplyDeleteI also appreciate that he isn't out begging lobbyist and developers for contributions which do not come with no bra straps attached.
I've known Fletch for ten years. I'm not black or jewish or a woman and I don't live in KC, so maybe I have no say in this election, but i am telling you he is one of the smartest people I know--the guy is sharp.

ReplyDeleteIf Fletcher had not contributed $35,000 to his own campaign I wounder if he would have been able to raise the money flying back and forth to Kansas City from California every week? Neither Fletcher of Brooks are good for the 3rd District.Fletcher will not win.
ReplyDeleteSharon is an evil, lazy woman. Fletcher is not a nice guy, either. But Sharon is dumb and Fletcher is smart. Fletcher probably won't hold up brightly colored underwear in public meetings either. So Fletch gets my vote.
