TKC TIPSTERS are saying that Kansas City Democrat Machiavelli Pat Gray played a role in the recent (and surprising) loss by the Mayor of Lee's Summit.
Karen Messerli had been Mayor for 16 years and was widely respected by many throughout Lee's Summit.
Her defeat was a surprise . . . And behind the scenes a great many people are blaming Pat Gray for yet another lackluster campaign despite the fact the extent of his role what was supposed to be a cakewalk is unknown.
Pat Gray is washed up. He now only does politics for money. He drinks way too much, smokes too much and charges too much. He is the reason we have Funkhouser, but look at how much he butt-raped Brooks campaign for. He also has lost JJ Rizzo's campaigns and Rizzo seniors campaign, and he literally stole from charlie wheeler in his campaign for county exec. Charlie rasied 400k and didn't run any ads! Raped and pillaged his account. He took the Heavies money and screwed them with the "no nonsense campaign". He took a group that had worked for years to rebuild their image from the thuggish muscle players into community betterment and infrastructure gurus. Now, by spending their money, making 30% cut he has put them at the bottom of the barrell again, and lost their damn vote! He is the least successful, least talked about consultant in KC and yet he takes the most money from his clients. He used to do it for the love, now its all about the money. He's awful and needs to hang it up before he slips into his grave. He runs campaigns like they did in the 70's.

ReplyDeleteIs it any surprise? Pay Gray has as much political power outside Kansas City as Sharon Saunders Brooks. Inside of Kansas City his power doesn't stretch past Brookside.
