Latest, Local Ineffectual Anti-Violence Rally

I'm sure they mean well . . . Then again, if this had anything to do with Aim4Peace I'm sure they came up with some pseudo-scientific calculation proving that it saved thousands of lives.

  2. None of this crap works. Someone needs to go upside their head with their hand. Dumb kids saying they don't have anywhere to go? Neither do my brats but they are not out causing trouble because I won't let them. It is almost as simple as that. (That and the fear of what I'd do when they got home)

Be parent's or take the responsibility for their actions.

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for your posting. As far as Aim4Peace, let us not forget that the whole "controversy" over its renewal was a carefully staged ploy. I don't know what violence will be like in the East Patrol District this year, but if it is bad the people responsible for this violence will need an excuse. So, first put out stories about the program's legendary effectiveness in stopping violence, then secretly arrange to have it killed, and Presto!! You have your excuse for a bad summer in the East Patrol District: The racist, "out of touch" city leadership caused the violence by not funding Aim4Peace. Well, whatever can be said of our Mayor, he knew a ploy when he saw one--lots of people around this city are deeply disappointed by Aim4Peace getting full funding because they have lost their carefully prepared excuse for a bad summer in the East Patrol District. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
