ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Tony: Thanks for always keeping the city posted on the ongoing explosion of violence in the black sections of KCMO--a topic the city's elites would mostly like to forget. Memo to the people on "Kansas City Week In Review": Please stop insulting the intelligence of everyone in this city by pretending to believe that this explosion of violence in the black parts of town is due to the recession. As the late William F. Buckley used to say to guests on his show: "I am not going to insult your intelligence by pretending to believe that you really believe what you just said." We are not idiots in this town, and we don't want to be treated as such. Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans PS: And don't further insult our intelligence by starting to claim that this violence in due to lack of gun control laws.
