"Parishioners and priests of the Diocese of Kansas City – St. Joseph took part in a hastily called protest Sunday against Arizona’s new immigration law and in favor of federal immigration reform. The protest was sponsored in part by the Diocese’ Human Rights Office.
Earlier this month, KCSJ Bishop Robert Finn joined in an interfaith gathering outside Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill’s Kansas City office urging the senator to support fair and comprehensive immigration reform at the federal level."

ReplyDeleteRemember why the Nazi's were checking papers. It wasn't spy on their own people, it was to catch infiltrators from England and the US. We were at war then, and they couldn't racially profile. So they had to check everybody!
ReplyDeleteChecking ID's during wartime isn't a bad thing. Especially in Europe wherre anybody can just walk in.
So lets not equate "let me see your papers (your drivers license proof of who you are) with totalitarianism or a police state. IF we had the same level of terrorism as the Israelis have to endure, you wouldn't EVEN be complaining that the cops had checked the guy sitting next to you!

No national marches against the millions illegals who steal honest american's Social Security Cards and Identities. The media never covers the countless real Americans who are victimized by these invaders. And before you all go hollering Racism, just look how Mexico treats it's neighbor to the south and their trespassers.

ReplyDeleteI take it Tony doesn't like Federal immigration laws either, since all Arizona did was take the Federal law and make it a State law. They aren't doing anything that ICE isn't supposed to be doing now with the exception that HLS and the State Department are too chicken shit to enforce.

ReplyDeleteWhen the Viets came, the Catholics were very quick help them settle back in 1980. English classes, help finding housing etc. I know their children, raised here, speak flawless English, and love the leisure teen American lifestyle.

Does anyone bilingual ever ask them why they don't and can tell us? Or is this part of the secret strategy of the Visitors, the Mexification of the US?
Catholic leaders should not encourage illegal activity. Given all of their problems and shortcomings, I couldn't care less what any Catholic bishop thinks. (and I'm a Protestant Christian who does not wish the Catholic Church any ill.)
