The ongoing drama in Waldo/Brookside continues to unfold without many new developments in the investigation beyond people calling the po-po on every Black guy they seee.
And again, what's exceptionally disappointing to see is the confused and mostly scared reaction from this town's favorite enclaves.
There has been rampant racial profiling, anonymous racist comments, reactionary blame shifting and other misguided and divisive discourse. TKC has struggled to maintain my role as a voice or reason amid a nearly surreal hot mess.
Long story short: Kansas City has FAILED during the discussion of this crisis.

You fan the flames, no different than Ron Hunt, the Al Sharpton's of the U.S, and particularly Michael Fletcher. And I now can see why he should have been disbarred besides what's been reported publicly, he was a racist with the police, but to say that it was "stalking" because someone followed what they thought might be a criminal!! He doesn't know the law and KC doesn't need him as mayor. Alvin Brooks, if he wasn't so overworked with all of his civic duties would truly be a breath of fresh air.
