The Upside Of Racist Radio Political Ads

The Star's covering racist radio ads today . . .

"The ads — which began on the station (KMBZ) last week — are from Glenn Miller, a Springfield man who once ran the White Patriot Party. He’s been described by the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala., as a white supremacist and former paramilitary organizer."

I can't really note that I find the ads any more offensive than most of what Chris Stigall has to say. Still . . . I can TOTALLY understand why a lot of people would be up in arms about this . . . For my part, I just wonder who gets the ad AFTER the racist one and it certainly makes the local marketing scene ripe for every crackpot to get in . . . Which is always an upside for TKC.

Hey TKC!!! He's running ads on your b***'s program Darla Jaye.
Let me repeat: He's running ads on your b***'s program Darla Jaye.
Why do you work with squit's best friend and co-conspirator? Those two wash ups conspire to plan leaks about people to help funk'd. Darla Jaye is using her radio station as a campaign consulting firm for funk'd. Got the data to prove it. And there you go, kissing her ass. GET SOME OTHER STATION TO PICK YOU UP! You can, you know.

  2. I think the article points out that they could reject the ads if they really wanted.

Dear Mr. Tony: Thanks for the posting on the hateful ads on radio. People have got to remember that hateful rhetoric has consequences--regardless of who is sprewing it around. In 1968 black radical Stokely Carmichael was in a black neighborhood, he pointed at a local motel, and said: "We should burn this motel down." The crowd did so; the owner of the motel was a black man--he lost everything. A few weeks later he killed himself--he left behind a suicide note saying: "Why did my own people do this to me?" Local demagogues who sprew hatred towards Jews, blacks, Hispanics, white police officers,Koreans, etc should remember this story when they say their hateful comments. Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans
