I've had a couple of complaints about problems with the site loading today . . . THAT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE MORE THAN 20K UNIQUE USERS VISITED THIS BLOG FROM 8AM TO 1PM!!!
Still, while the problems could be solved by simply reloading or refreshing the page . . . I want to avoid any delays for users. My solution will probably be to cut the front page down to 25 posts at a time. On the very last post users can now click to view "older posts" without having to delve into the archives. But everything works fine right now and it's weird that so many people are visiting the site on a Friday.
