Thanks to the AWESOME FOLKS who sent this my way. To wit, I'm not joking when I say that a great many elected officials at the state level are LITERALLY laughing at Mayor Funkhouser's incompetence.
"The 5 grand going to (former Jeff Roe associate) Mark Siettmann is highway robbery." Said one TKC reader who got a glimpse of this e-mail. "They have no idea what the Kansas City Delegation is doing and they don't seem to want to learn."
Mayor Funky keeps promising he's going to get better at communicating and cooperating with other local politicos both Republican and Democrat . . . But it never happens.

And yet again, this sad and lonely soiree is just the latest passage in the story of Mayor Funkhouser's failed administration that has been little more than a series of empty gestures and gross incompetence.

ReplyDeleteThis would be the fault of Jeff Roe. The Mayor was going to meet with mostly Democrats, they really don't count in Jeff City. It is Republican controlled. So he is talking to the wrong people. Do you think anyone is going to get more money from Jeff City? They are just as broke as KC.

That seems to be why the Funk hired Seittman and is covering the bill with public funds. Far be it that we should think that a man such as the Funk used to be would steal from the public to pay a campaign obligation.

ReplyDeleteJeff City is not in session on Fridays, BUT there are a multitude of conferences, in-state meetings, budget related business meetings, constituent meetings set WAY in advance. A 4 (FOUR) day notice is rude and petulant.

In this particular spiel he talks about "Enemies". Well, he has created a lot of material on that subject. He always speaks about his enemies, never about moving this city forward. Never about building up our city. Never about being of use except when it fills a political need.
