TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! BOB STRINGIELD RUNS FOR COUNTY EXECUTIVE AGAINST MIKE SANDERS!!!

Now is the time when just a few Jackson County incumbents can dance . . .

A RATHER AWESOME TKC TIPSTER REPORTS that former Northeast Jackson County Legislator Bob Stringfield has filed as a Republican against Mike Sanders!!!

Folks may remember Stringfield for a lot of old school Jackson County silliness.

Stringfield sued the County over an ethics beef.

Stringfield was also involved in a rather embarrassing Jackson County Fight at The Courthouse during a meeting.

This isn't a serious challenge but should be good for a giggle given that Sanders is pretty much the most powerful politico downtown right now.

  2. Here's the deal: Is anybody going to give Stringfield money because it would just be a waste. With only cash out of his own pocket it's not going to be a competitive race. Republicans don't consider the odds any good and I seriously doubt he'd get any support.

  3. Just like the Co-Mayors dont have a chance. The only thing they can look forward to is West Virginia making it to the final game and then its back home mountain moma.

  4. Good luck with that, Bob. Why don't you just get a case of beer, get drunk and set a pile of cash fire in your front yard. At least going this route you'll get a good buzz.

  5. Stringfield 2010: For a more hilarious Jackson County Legislature

There's a reason why County Republican candidates run so far behind state and federal Republicans. But if a miracle happens, I look forward to the County Executive having his funding slashed and the fistfights.
