There was a big abortion debate in the Missouri House today.
Here's a headline that came from it:
The Missouri House has passed legislation requiring prosecutors to be informed when teenagers seek abortions.
What was more interesting is the crowd that some of the more reactionary Conservatives brought with them. The public seats in the place were filled with a cheerleading section of sorts all clad in red garb, presumably to signify "the blood of the innocent."
The red wearing anti-abortion advocates had their act down . . . They cheered in all of the right sections and make their presence felt. It was a nice display of red state organizing intended to keep skanks from making their own horrible medical decisions.
Lucky for all of us that these yahoos will save the world. I'm sure no teen will try to get an illegal abortion.
