I'm really starting to loathe Mike Hendricks.
Think about it . . .
He was proven to be an arrogant douche when applying for a job.
He was slapped around on national radio because he used MYSPACE as a resource.
He had a blog and it failed.
Now he has retreated to writing about old news . . . And even then he can't make any new insight that hasn't already been covered in thousands of social media posts.
I would feel sorry for him if I didn't know he was kind of a creep. Still, the fact that he's getting paid to (at a drastically cut salary) still intrigues me and makes The Star's financial demise seem understandable . . . Coffee writing is fine but close news watchers might lament that days later he is writing about news that TKC was the first to publish/blog in the metro area.
As for his column, I can't help but think it's part of reason that companies are leaving KC en masse . . . Because Kansas City so often settles for less.

ReplyDeleteThanks for always linking to Mike's column Tony. I can always count on your to whine about his column so I never need to bookmark it. I just look for the most nonsense rant on your blog and it usually is the Hendricks column posts.
