21 MURDERS IN KANSAS CITY SO FAR!!!

The local death toll keeps getting worse as Crime Fighting Activist Alonzo Washington keeps track of the totals.

  1. Crime fighting Activist?..... Keeping a tally on dead people is far from activism.

  2. More Murder In Killa City USA .... crime capital USA. And home to the still at large Waldo rapist.

What an inept Police Department we have.

  3. Doesn't KCPD keep this information? If they don't, I'm pretty sure the newly created and over funded AIM4PEACE group does. Do we need a self-appointed community activist, and shameless self-promoter telling us how many people have been killed?

  4. You want to see something funny.
KCPD advertised it's new website in January 2010 but it has lost 70% of its users page views in the past 3 months.

Dear 9:11: Yes, the KCPD keeps a running tally of the homicide totals on its website. But, here is the catch: You have to "dig" to get this info out--it is not on the front page. The KCPD, like the local media, has gotten its marching orders from some powerful local interest groups: Stop highlighting homicide totals because these totals indicate that there has been an explosion of violence in the black sections of KCPD in the past two years. In the summer of 2008 the local media stopped a practice that had been routine until then: With the news of every new homicide, note the total for the year and also note what the total was at that point the previous year. With all his faults, and he definitely has them, at least Alonzo must be given credit for continually reminded the city of some facts that they would rather forget. Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans

Those number pretty much speak for themselves. That's a huge drop.

  9. If I remember correctly they use to post the crime numbers on the front page of their former site.
