White people in Waldo who haven't really said much about crime in any other part of Kansas City are scheduled to congregate today.
In a post-modern kind of way it's interesting to see a lynch mob full of smiling faces and (hopefully) unaware of the cultural logics they're propagating or the backward step they've moved Kansas City toward by not including or even reaching out to any well-known minority anti-crime activists as part of their efforts.

An event to raise awareness and reward money to catch the waldo rapist.
$10 admission includes two drink tickets, appetizers and music by Abbey Road.
100 % of money raised will be applied toward the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hotline reward fund. In the event that a reward isn't needed to capture him, all proceeds will go to the KCPD TIPS Hotline program.
Then again, from what I've seen it's gonna be nothing more than so many local events clandestinely dedicated to white pride.

ReplyDeleteWow, that a turnout to try to raise money to catch a serial rapist can be construed as a white pride rally is outrageous. No wonder so many white people hate multiculturalism--half the time it is just an ax to grind for people who use their ethnic/racial identities for career posturing.
