I talked with JoCo Publishing Impresario Steve Rose (accompanied by his really great wife Carol) yesterday and I was surprised to hear his adamant support of Kevin Yoder to take the Kansas 3rd congressional now that Dennis Moore has dropped out.
Kansas politics doesn't really interest me that much but I was surprised to hear the full court press for Yoder given a previous column by Rose which asserted that Former State Sen. Nick Jordan was the clear favorite.
Clearly, things are changing fast in the crowded Kansas Congressional race but I'm certain that the support of this influential opinion columnist is critical for anybody who wants to be taken seriously.
Rose touted three strong points for Yoder:
Again, I'm not an expert on what goes down in Kansas but from what I've seen in previous elections I'd have to agree with Rose. If recent history is any indication, a great many of these Kansas GOP jerks are going to take themselves out as usual and the politico who appears halfway sane among the tea-bagging reactionaries will probably stay winning.

ReplyDeleteWhat's Kevin Yoders position on drunk drivers? I mean other people driving drunk? People other than him? People that don't know the loopholes to weasel out of a DUI? Yoder belongs in Washington, where the rules don't apply to the ruling class. Making the rules the rest of us have to live with.
