Hope Doesn't Live In Kansas City

With their Super Bowl Victory The Saints turned around years of football despair and failure. Tragically, Kansas City Football fans know that a reversal of fortune isn't coming anytime soon for The Chiefs.

In fact, there are only two ways anything related to Kansas City can make an appearance at the big game:

1. An NFL acknowledgment of history: Old School Len Dawson was honored at the game presented the same MVP trophy he won 40 years ago.

2. By way of charity: Chiefs guard Brian Waters won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award which kind of gives credence to the truism that "nice guys finish last."

When it comes to the current state of affairs in Kansas City, in every sense of the word this town isn't championship caliber.

I mean, c'mon . . . Even the cheerleaders for The New Orleans Saints make K.C. skanks look decrepit by comparison.

So, once again it seems like Kansas City is only a place to look at victory from afar.

Hopefully, more links and content coming a bit later . . . Stay tuned.

  3. I gotta disagree with you Tony the Chefs who always cook up a loss have some gorgeous cheerleaders. Have you see their calendar.

  4. The Chefs redhead cheerleader is a first round pick, the rest are second-rate to the Saints girls.
