I'm going to make myself a sandwich while enjoying a look at local Republican Machiavelli Jeff Roe and thinking about the rest of Kansas City's GOP elite living the good life.
There may be a bit more content to come later tonight . . . But for now, I just want everybody to have a safe and FUN weekend evening.
UPDATE:
So, philosophical questions about the nature of success and typical TKC commenter meanies are much more interesting than anything I had in store for late Saturday night. So tonight THE TKC SATURDAY NIGHT PLAYLIST is dedicated to Jeff Roe and The Super Bowl. It's sort of a celebration of the guy who seemingly silenced Gloria Squitiro and a hope that everybody has a good Sunday while rooting for The Saints.

ReplyDeleteI think the commentor who said last week that both Roe and Moreno are the type of vampires who ruin politics was dead-on correct.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that the days of experienced political managers who are not driven by money appear to be over.
I cannot think of one out there who has won a tough race who did not do it for the money.
I know both Jeff Roe and Chris Moreno and outside of campaigns they are nice guys. Inside campaigns they are as intense as it gets.
ReplyDeleteAfter talking to a county legislator this weekend who had insight on the subject, I am convinced that most of these attacks against Moreno have come from a familiar source: Phil Cardarella and his has-been wife.
ReplyDeleteCardarella and Shields have been making things up about Chris on behalf of a neice who is running for state representative.
That would explain some of the insider information about Chris that has been twisted to make him look like a monster.
Chris Moreno is a massive liability for the Democrat Pary. It has been clearly documented on this blog and else where that he has offered monetary payoffs in order to force Mrs. Cardarella to end her candidacy. We believe he has also laundered capaign contributions into the campaign committees of John "Hondo" Bullard and Clay Rogers -- to other Democrat candidates running in Eastern Jackson County. It is our hope that federal investigators looking into corruption in Jeff City, will look at Moreno and his corrpting impact on Missouri politics. As long as the Democrat Party uses bag men like Moreno, Democrats will be known for Corruption and Slease.
