Here's the sitch:
The latest campaign finance report for 11TH SENATORIAL LEADERSHIP COMM shows a single, solitary sweet $5,001 donation from Rex Sinquefield - The Billionaire challenging the E-Tax in Missouri.
And then . . . A quick look into the campaign finance reports of Jolie Justus from that same time period shows a $2,500 donation from the 11TH SENATORIAL LEADERSHIP COMM.
So, like it or not . . .
OPENLY LESBIAN KANSAS CITY POLITICO JOLIE JUSTUS TOOK MONEY FROM ONE OF MOST CONSERVATIVE, REACTIONARY POLITICAL FORCES IN MISSOURI!!!
Of course this is going to be explained away as an indirect contribution despite the time frame that pretty much put the Sinquefield cash directly in her pocket.
What's important to remember is that keeping campaign coffers full takes priority over any preference that a politico might have concerning political bed hopping.

And then we have Chris Moreno who is so intent to make himself a famous politician that he posts his name all over this blog, which pisses off one or more of his many enemies and starts fights that result in the truth coming out.
One need only look at the Rex Sinquefield post below where the information about the money laundering transaction was first posted in the comments. The comment was aimed at Chris Moreno after "someone" was praising his political power.
If you want to blame someone, do not blame the reform-oriented Kanders. You need only look as far as a bully named Chris Moreno who pisses off far to many people in his immature quest for power.

If you look at any politician, you will see that many contributors also contributed to their opponent. That is the game of politics. Jolie will not sell her soul for favors.

This report shows that the money was received on the same day the report was filed.
However, the regular quarterly report shows that the contribution was received on November 19, 2009, which is before the contribution to Justus but just after the contribution to Waits.

It looks like Hoppe screwed up, by disclosing that they received the money before they reported it to the Ethics Commission. Or, they know that the Quarterly report data is far more likely to be run against bank account data by the Ethics commission. If this is the case, Callahan and Hoppe filed a false report on 12/23/09, well after the 48 hour rule had expired, and then tried to cover it up on 1/10/10

Chris Moreno is a young leader. He nearly won a state representative seat in a highly competitive district, that many of us would like to see him run for again. As far as working for Ms. Garza-Ruiz I think you are thinking of his brother Nick.

When I first met Chris Moreno, I was impressed. Now I am not. I don't think he has a clue as to what is actually happening in the world and he doesn't appear to have ever taken an in depth American History class or read much American/Political history.

ReplyDeleteI had the chance to meet Mr. Moreno during his campaign. What a great young man. Since then, I've seen him speak at a number of different events and am still impressed by his work ethic, speaking skills and professionalism. While we don't see eye to eye on all issues, if he were candidate, I'd vote for him again in a heartbeat. Not many people can connect with such a wide range of voters like he does.

For those of us active in te local chamber and Raytown community issues it's well known that there is a person who just stalks Mr. Moreno with posts on this site and other websites.It's election season readers so remember that people will go to the gutter to smear someone this time of the year.
I'm not a democrat by any stretch but as far as I'm concerned the party made a very good move bringing him in.

Well it is great to know that the House Democratic Campaign Committee has hired someone who the Republicans like more than the Democrats.
