Sewer Jan is sticking by one of her friends according to City Hall Chatter.
This isn't completely out of character but once again DeAnn Smith offers a nice peek at the way City Hall works . . . Do doesn't.
Some would say this is why DeAnn got laid off at the Star. She has no basis for her rumor and plays with people's jobs and lives without regard. She is down to a couple of old buddies at City Hall including in the City Attorney's office. Garcia is shaking things up in the worst department in city govt. The natives are after him for making them be responsible so DeAnn is their shill.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing Garcia has shaking is people shaking their heads at his incompetence. The guy is so far in over his head, it would be hilarious EXCEPT it's our water department, and the EPA is telling us what to do. Get him out and get someone competent in his place. And soon.
ReplyDeleteJan knows the 4th district will include the Westside after redistricting. So does she want to be mistrusted after redistricting. This is also understanding the Hispanics are going to be better organized politically.

ReplyDeleteAgree with 10:15pm. Get the Water Dept. a good director who understands the needs of the mid-west not Florida or Texas. He is clueless and there are projects that have to be completed per EPA and they are not happening. I disagree with 7:41pm, Water is one of the BEST depts. and contributes millions into the general fund so depts. like HR can have a budget. Ask the Fire Dept., without Water, they are nothing!
