While KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS kept me informed regarding a local Demo meetup at Westport hangout Californos last night in order to "watch" President Obama's speech . . . I didn't get an invitation and didn't bother crashing.
From reports that I've heard so far . . . I didn't miss much other than an explosion of joy, applause and various exaltation when Obama declared his intention to get rid of don't ask/don't tell and again reminded us of the long standing commitment to get the U.S. out of Iraq this year.
Otherwise, expensive nachos and drinking opportunities with Demos weren't too tempting despite the bigger than usual crowd.
