Mike Hendircks does a nice job representing the great bumbling middle-class of JoCo who have started to give up on Obama. Still, his comments on the Great Recession in light of the upcoming State Of The Union Address are an insightful glimpse at the sense of entitlement and fear that dominates the suburbs. I still hope he gets fired from The Kansas City Star so that he might discover something a tad more meaningful than whining suburbanite desperation.

Well, whining or not Mike Hendricks pretty much nailed it this time. Its a frieghtening prospect as I sit and wonder which of my neighbors will be tossed out of their homes, and what will become of those families. The only thing is-I live in Northeast KCMO, not OP. We sure could use some of that "change" President Obama preached about during his campaign.
