ReplyDeleteWhere was Flunkhouser on this? It seems that Mayor Smart With Bothinghouser and the Clowncil caved in days to Big Mike Sanders. Why then did they have to generate any legal bills? Or since it's not their own money and the leader of the asylum is Mayor Sue And Be Sued as long as he doesn't have to cover the lawyer bill they didn't think about even the initial cost to KCMO and to the County for legal representation and the preparation of documents.
ReplyDeleteOh well, now let's hope Big Mike accepts the cave in having gotten what we are being told what he asked for (right or wrong is a different issue).
Inafunk has a point, why didn't the city just reform the process before making the county sue, given that they were going to make the changes 12-0 anyway? Seems like it just emabarassed them for no gain to themsleves. Did Sanders shcool the Funk this bad?

ReplyDeleteWho cares??????????? Mike is just looking for 15 minutes that he can't get at Jackson County. 15 min. are up, go back to obscurity.
ReplyDeleteEverything that KC TIF did before today is suspect. They ran an illegal board. The shut out other taxing jurisdictions from the voting process. Are the current contracts doled out by TIF Board members and passed by the city council viable?
