I still think the Mayor should order the IT department to publish all emails to your email address, put them before the city council, and fire them for wasting time on the job.
And publish their names in the paper. No one would hire backstabbing assholes like that. They'd get exactly what they deserve.
I think it's reasonable that if you don't' have loyalty, you are justified to ask underlings for their resignations. No reason to keep someone on payroll who isn't part of the team, especially when the team leader's been elected by those who pay those salaries.

Get government out of our pockets. People who use the Department of Agriculture for fundage or advice, should be billed for it. So theyll be foreced to pass those consultant via government moron onto their customers.
Similarly, admit that the war in Iraq wasn't about terrorism, like the war in Kuwait, it was about OIL and the stability of the oil supply.
Either send the bill for those two wars to BP and Mobil and the other oil companies, or just take the bill, divide it up and put it into an excise tax on THE PRICE OF GAS AT THE PUMP!
User pays. Why tax us for a benefit geared only to keeping OIL as our mobile main energy source.
Bump price at the pump up to what it REALLY is, ten or twelve bucks an hour, and people will be using the marketplace to fund other sources of mobile energy.
Like Electricity. Why pay the Arabs to make our cars go, when we can build a few nuclear power plants and tell them to ride their camels?
Ten dollar a gallon gas will reduce stupid driving. Save energy costs, and if the government loses fundage to pay for their wars to preserve oil country stability, well gee
