Nice. Looks like the people working at a Midtown Starbucks are much stronger and far better than the coffee.
A tale of Starbucks heroism could be the greatest story of the season or at the very least a sign of the times in the Broadway/Main corridor:
"A thief with a gun lost the battle when he got into a fight with a Starbucks store manager in midtown, police said. The would-be crook was later found at a hospital where he was arrested.
Kansas City police said a gunman walked into the Starbucks at 41st and Main streets about 10:45 p.m. Sunday and went into the back room where the manager was counting money.
Starbucks officials said the manager followed protocol and complied with the robber, but when he felt his life was in danger, he pulled a box cutter out of his pocket and sliced the gunman across the chest. The manager then grabbed the robber's gun and pushed him out of the store."

We need to give this guy a medal. The criminal will get to explain to his new jail friends that a BOXCUTTER is faster than a gun.
ReplyDeleteGood for him.
ReplyDeleteJust don't try to get on a plane with one.
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't come back and kill him.
