I don't know much about Mr. Scherer's Congressional Run in JoCo . . . But I'm convinced that if he's screwing around with JoCo bloggers he's probably undeserving of any attention or consideration.

ReplyDeleteJOCOSOB is a good guy. I have a lot of respect for what he writing related to reporting violence in KC metro area.
He is making some of aware of it and that serves a public purpose. The other blogger than stole my copyrighted artwork, that I own has violated my rights to which I have the right to relief and remedy.
So Tony, why don't you tell me his name since he refuses to. You can call me 403-8584. He call me at 403-8584. On his blog, he admits in writing to having stolen my copyrighted materials. I appreciate his admission which might come in real handy, shortly.
In fairness, he might want contact his attorney real soon.
By the way Tony, I have been a blogger for many years. I have been a web site developer for many years. I was in charge of building the first on line data base in America for the RBOCS.

ReplyDeleteTony, I do have a question related to your headline above. Ok. You state I am completely unqualified. Why add the word, completely. I am pretty certain I met the requirements as stated in the United States Constitution. Heck Tony, you are qualified.
ReplyDeleteFurther, do you think a government liason with HSBC Bank is more qualified to represent you or her bank? How about Rysavy who works for Genetech or however it is spellled. Does that make him qualified, unqualifed or completely unqualified? Now Mr. Gilyeat surely must be completely qualified. And every one else must be a coward because they would file as long as Moore was running. SO, is Joe, Carol, Nick and the rest, where do they fit under this standard?
I am just curious how do we determine who is qualified? Does Steve Rose tell us? Or is it Steve Kraske at the KC Star? I was pretty certain it was the voters that chose the person they felt was the best candidate that clearly discussed their issues and listened. Listened a lot.
Since we are discussing words, I wanted to get your input on the US Constitution. Now it states a more perfect union. How do get more than perfect? And what we call something that is better than perfect.
ReplyDeleteI merely wonder why our founding fathers did not merely say a better union? And since the French wrote their Constitution right after ours, should there constitution not state more perfect than your more perfect?
Regardless, most of the people want better than merely more perfect. Me, I just want a better union and a united country. More perfect, sounds too anal retentive. LOL. I am sure will straighten us out on these two simple words. Then, when you are done with those two, explain what God meant, when he is quoted in the Bible as saying I am who am. I never quite understand that one either.

Tony, I got a good book here. Dummies Guide for Philosophy. Pg. 119, Socrates gave 12 virtues that basically he gave a scale of 1 to 10 on any particular virtue in any given circumstance.
ReplyDeleteFor example, good and evil. That is black and white. Now Socrates was considered a pretty smart dude. And basically said not to judge people on a scale of 2. Instead, he suggested a scale of 1 to 10. So I guess you are stating I am a 1. Ok. Fair enough. Would you give a scale score for your standard of what constitutes completely qualified for all the possible candidates?
By you explaining completely unqualified vs. completely qualified, what virtues do we use? Then, same book, pg. 120 lists 3o more character traits. Using the same 1 to 10 scale. So any particular candidate, basically to determine their character and qualifications, we would have to rate them on about 42 different scales to arrive at some kind of numeric ranking system.
What are the scores of all these people based on Socrates 12 virtues and then the 30 traits attributed to a person's character--you know, things like honesty, trustworthy, cheap or spendthrfift, fellow blogger, geek score.
You know what I mean-the important stuff. We gotta have some standards here. I just hope you tell all of us what they are for all these yahoos wanting to be the 3rd or any other district congressman.
