TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! Cauthen buddy David Park will get Neighborhood and Community Services Director Job Permanently
Neighborhood and Community Services has been without a leader for quite awhile . . . And now THANKS TO AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS readers of this blog know in advance that Acting Department Director David Park will get the post permanently.
It's an important department and is basically the City's face . . . Strange that this job is going to a white guy . . . Even worse, apparently the dude is good buddies with the Cauthen crew and word around City Hall is that he's the architect of Kansas City's mowing program that went over-budget by about 400%.
What's more interesting to me is that City Hall and Cauthen had the opportunity here to appoint a female department head which is important because as of now . . .
THERE ARE NO FEMALE DEPARTMENT HEADS IN KANSAS CITY'S CITY HALL!!!
It's one more sign that diversity has really taken a hit during the Funkhouser era and Kansas City's progress in every respect has been moved backward.
We just have to get rid of all these people... starting with the putrid Cauthen and the Loser Funk. The time for ending their ability to bring us all down is now just the same as it was long ago!

ReplyDeleteIris Archer wife of the former director of the Codes Adminstration was a department head. She was an old city hall slut who ended a marriage and screwed her way right up the ladder!

David Park does a decent job and has been 2nd in command for a long time doing just fine.

Dave Parks came back to KC was given a job that did not exist. He turned codes dept into a joke. Then he moved his good friend from dangerous building, that could find one danerous building a month to codes dept. Long term staff transfered or quit. Dave Parks if you watch him on channel 2 can not answer a question. He has to get back to you. Neighborhoods need help not Dave Parks.
ReplyDeleteGet it right, folks! The only reason that Cauthen appointed David Park (a white guy)is that he is trying to "prove" that his actions are not racist. If it were not for all the lawsuits and his record of racist appointments, David Park wouldn't have stood a chance, despite having been the Deputy Director for so manay years. Cauthen would have thumbed his nose at Park, but his attorney knew that would have generated ANOTHER lawsuit and "fiat accomple" that he hated whites and would not hire or appoint them if he could locate a passably "qualified" African-American.
