The KCMSD school board candidate filing packets for the April 6th election are officially available. Pick up your packet from 1211 McGee immediately and start gathering your signatures! Filing officially begins at 8am, December 22nd. Filing closes at 5pm, January 19th. Details are at www.kcu4ea.org/candidates/

Running for any office can be difficult. So as part of Kansas Citians United for Educational Achievement's (KCU4EA) ongoing commitment to the KCMSD's democratic process, KCU4EA will help donate a campaign website to any candidate for the school board that completes the filing process and is certified to be placed on the April 6th ballot. This donation could include, but not be limited to:
- domain name (such as www.electyourname.com)
- 10 email address (such as yourname@electyourname.com)
- web-based campaign database
- web-based newsletter system
- web-based content management system (in other words: update your own site without having to know anything special)
- online polling
- and more
- graphic design is not included (yet... any graphic designers or other web developers out there willing to donate your time as well?)
