Burke is going to drop out. He is just looking for a sweet enough deal to get him out of the race. He can't win, knows it but will feather his nest.

ReplyDelete8:55, Kurt is too broke to pay the entry fee into the fundraiser. After Burke took every available TIF dollar for legal fees, he dropped Kurt like a bad relative. Now Renaissance North looks like an abandoned slum. Also, everybody knows Burke had a deal with Al "light a candle" Brooks that Brooks would serve one term and then support Burke. Too bad that Al is just as lame as Burke, neither one will see the 29th floor.
ReplyDeleteI tried to listen to the video but I kept falling asleep. Who starts their campaign on a sunken ship and calls it The Journey Begins, we know how this story ends. KC's version of the Titanic - Mike Burke!
ReplyDeleteI was seriously considering Burke until I watched this. This is the most painful political speech I have ever listened to. It is awful.
ReplyDeleteWhat concerns me most though is I thought this guy was a Northlander? Apparently not. There was not one mention or picture. Burke just wants to spend more downtown. I only saw two Northlanders in the very small crowd.
Kansas City, let's find a candidate to beat Funk. It sure isn't Burke.
