Early Morning Plaza Lights

A special thanks to a TKC Tipster who surprisingly has a JOB. This photo was taken at around 4:30 in the morning today and features that Plaza testing out their holiday lights as Kansas City prepares to celebrate the legacy of some old white man who brought racially restrictive covenants to the Kansas City area and is most responsible for this town living under de facto segregation in the present day.

  3. ^ ha. someone loves their plaza lights.

does hearne's blog count as a job? because he's usually the only one weaving around the Plaza in the early morning hours taking pictures of lights...and sirens...and cops...

  5. Those stupid white people! How dare they develop land and create jobs!

Not sure of any laws banning minorities from doing the same thing.

  6. I agree with RDM. I'm glad you posted that link and that you're aware of that nasty practice.

    Happy Thanksgiving Tony!

  7. Fantastic! What a hoot! The photo is a little blurry... probably the way Hearne sees 99% of the time.
