A couple of months back when The Chiefs weren't completely out of the running for any kind of playoff appearance there was still a bit of hope the team and they seemed to have a sense of humor.
Now that this season is down the toilet AND it was demonstrated for the entire nation that a tweet from a middling player in the twilight of his career can shake up the whole organization . . . I don't notice many jokes.
But hey . . . The organization is currently on the upswing with TWO back-to-back victories so I think it's time for good cheer once again.
Those of us who haven't yet seen it should check out a parody of "The Office" from The Chiefs. It was originally met with a giant "meh" from the Internets. However, the video provides a great look at what happens when corporate humor meets a general lack of creativity and combines for obvious jokes.
Note: Just to completely ruin the mood . . . Let's remember that, in a way, Kansas City subsidized the production of this Youtube clip indirectly thanks to the Stadium Tax . . . And a grown-ass person was paid to put it together.
It's actually pretty funny, and way better than you could do, Tony, if left to your own devices.
