I know, I know . . . I've been blogging about Wayne Cauthen's upcoming removal from City Hall for quite a bit . . . But it looks the the Council is FINALLY moving quickly to get it done.

MAYOR FUNKY FINALLY FOUND THE SUCCESSFUL FORMULA FOR EFFECTIVE GOVERNING KANSAS CITY!!! HE JUST PUT LOUIE WRIGHT AND LOCAL 42 IN CHARGE!!!

WITH THIS MOVE LOUIE WRIGHT AND LOCAL 42 WILL BASICALLY RUN KANSAS CITY'S NEXT CITY MANAGER!!!
What does Kansas City get out of this scenario? Well, Cauthen's absence would undoubtedly bring a benefit and I guess we won't have to worry about Local 42's pension fund ever running low . . . Other than that, it's mostly just political theater.
Coincidentally, AWESOME and SMARTASS TKC TIPSTERS wonder if and when Louie Wright will forgo any kind of subterfuge and simply install a firepole on the 29th floor of City Hall.
When it comes to not knowing when you are no longer wanted, who is more stubborn, Wayne or Funk? Wayne, I think you are at least smarter than Funky, so better get going while the going is good. We know your resume is bouncing around the country right now, so go. This weekend would be fine. You can send for your things later. Don't pretend you don't read this blog.

ReplyDeleteLouie Wright needs to be investigated for some of his shenanigans; and the council members on his "payroll" should be investigated for ethics violations and bribery. And yes, I mean John Sharp and Beth Gottstein, among others.

ReplyDeleteGwen Grant and Clinton Adams have zero credibility and the influence of an ant in the African American community. Grant was a member of the TIF commission that handed out those tax breaks to Cordish during the Barnes administration. But when she couldn't shake Cordish down for money she turned on them. She will support Cauthen and anybody else as long as they are giving her money for her struggling organization.
