TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! FORMER MAYOR KAY SOON TO MAKE HER HOME IN BROOKSIDE!!!

Here's something to think about . . .

Talk of Mayor Kay running for Kansas City's top political job once again is reaching a fever pitch. Her people keep denying it . . . However, TKC TIPSERS tell us . . .

FORMER MAYOR KAY IS MOVING TO BROOKSIDE!!!

The house is being painted before her arrival . . . Which should signal a great many things to this town's political denizens.

TKC wrote it first . . . Kay is Back!!! And she's probably running for Mayor again.

  1. Tony, this is not breaking news. Most insiders have known for a while that Kay is moving back to Brookside. That's not news. And she is NOT running for mayor.

  4. Running for office or not she has a lot of explaining to do about her relationship with the rich developers that created their "love child", the TIF commission.

  5. I think Kay should run for council--get rid of Beth. I'd vote for Kay in a heartbeat--for mayor or council. We need to get back to pre-Flunk days.

  6. I am so disappointed with the current crop that I might actually vote for Kay.

  7. The bar for mayor was lowered so damn far... I'd vote for Barnes just because she wears clothes and has a clean house. My God, what joy to hear that she is having her house painted! She gets her suits pressed, she combs her hair, she does not curse staff at the post office, she uses proper eating utensils, she did not leave coffee rings on vintage tables in city hall, she did not allow food to be spilt all over the office....
Petty? You bet, but the funky's have not acomplished anything, they have only destroyed the office of mayor.

  9. Right on thin margin! But we are a bit on the OCD side aren't we? Just kidding.

  10. She already lived in Kansas City. She never left. She's just moving within city limits. Ho-hum.

  13. Before you vote, remember TIFs, Power & Light District and the $11 million debt tab.

  14. Spam is good. At least we have some thing to spam about. Do you?

Here's the only local rant I'm going to make until labor day. Because contrary to what TKC fills his pages with, there's really nothing worth talking about in this town.

Certainly nothing going on at city hall. So enjoy my spam. It's very good on toast, fried, with a slice of cheese, mayo and mustard.

Wait, let me go get the link

Here's the spamwich for your shopping convenience, now I'll wait for the five weekend readers Tony has to come over and make a nudge in my Analytics.

  15. Better watch the Barnes real close. She is a northlander at heart. She is a Mike Burke crone. They are getting ready to run a northland pitch to take the power. Wait until the redistricting moves the first and second totally north of the river. They will need a Quisling in Brookside to deliever the forth and a few votes from the sixth . That is what Barnes is playing at now.

  16. Only a douche like radioman would respam his link that Tony graciously already posted. Congrats, Radioman. Consider yourself crowned King of the AssDouche

  17. I thought I'd posted on the last guy. Tony doesn't 'graciously' post links. He has his standard and by and large it's about local. He does give his favorites cuts in line, but hey, who doesn't? he works very hard, his blog has value.

I don't do much local other than radio and if he doesn't step on alMBBZeera, I can understand.

I don't have a problem with Tony except when he's being mean spirited... and because he sometimes IS, it gives you mice license to be assholes. But for all I know he DOES delete some msgs. If so, good for him.

I would. I do. I say up front no personal attacks. I'm fine to criticize radio people's politics and media news judgment. And if a cheap shot lands in my lap and its too funny to pass up, I'll break my rule for a good laugh.

But not to be mean. Some of you are just mean spirited and I'm glad I don't know you, and also know you don't know me. I think anonymity is generally an issue of cowardice. Everybody's brave shooting from behind a tree but there's no honor it and that means people who make it their habit have no honor.

People who sign their handles, the reputation of their blogs, they're honorable for they stand behind what they say.

So did you shake down the third graders for their lunch money back when you were in sixth? You exhibit many of the same signs of no remorse, and no sense of fairness. Getting ripped by the likes of you makes me look better, imho.
