Just as TKC noted previously . . .
There was no grand revelation of racism regarding the DJ Jazzy Jeff Controversy.
Civil rights manager Mickey Dean, who conducted the investigation for the Kansas City Human Relations Division, said Monday he was not able to confirm the truth about what caused Jazzy Jeff to abruptly cut his June 6 concert short.
Unfortunately, there's a bit of fallout from all this . . .
Privileged white people on Twitter mistakenly believe they can fight for social justice while out partying. This (non)story started on Twitter and was mostly the result of hipster angry because their festivities were interrupted. While the news was picked up later on Sunday on local radio . . . What was unfortunate is that accusations of racism were rampant and put forth by the media when, in the end . . . Jazzy Jeff noted that no racial bias was involved . . . In essence, he sold out all of this town's hipsters. Good for him!
Worst of all . . . Pitch Newsie Nadia Pflaum revealed herself to be nothing more than an agenda driven "journalist" and wrote as much for all of The Internets to see before her screed was pulled down by less emotive bosses who were probably at a different time in their cycle.
So . . . In the end, all of Kansas City lost on this one . . . Which is usually the way these divisive racial struggles go down.
haha....girls on their period are HOT!
