Damn . . . You bags were very close tonight to the Kansas City blogosphere becoming a lot whiter.
Driving home in the rain there were at least half a dozen streets that were impassable and it really was a life risking search to find higher ground. I mean damn, my new shoes could have suffered water damage.
Anyhoo . . . Because of superior TKC navigation skills I made it back to my basement relatively unharmed and with an unscheduled shower to boot. Thank you Baby Jesus.
Also, with all of the overflowing sewers and several feet of water on the streets after a simple Summer shower I'm reminded that promises related to Infrastructure have been ignored and this town is still a flood hazard and woefully behind on dealing with even a moderate rainfall.
