The Star Employs Decade Old Mugshot Idea On Their Failing Internet Front Page

The Star is featuring "mugshots to remember" on their front page proving once again that they might have just discovered the Internet last week.

Far more successful, more efficient and much more profitable Independent Journalism site The Smoking Gun has made this idea famous for almost a decade.

Hell Crime Scene KC, written expertly by James Hart, is the Star's greatest blog success and part of the formula for attracting a crowd is incorporating LOCAL mug shots not recycling celebrity embarrassment that people have seen somewhere else.

And speaking of benefiting from the misery of others . . .

WILL THE STAR FEATURE THE MUGSHOT OF RHONDA CHRISS LOKEMAN WHO WAS A FORMER COLUMNIST AND CURRENT WIFE OF THE PUBLISHER IN THEIR NEW SECTION?!?!?

It's only fair . . . She was a bit of a local celebrity . . . If the Star doesn't publish the embarrassing photos of the publisher's wife, I'm pretty sure their most recent flimsy online effort is nothing but a lame attempt to execute the ideas of someone else in a typically incompetent fashion.

Why don't you beat the Star to the punch as you always do and publish the photo of RKL yourself?

All hail Tony Botello, King of the Blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, as usual you need to be credited for selecting one of the most gruesome celebrity mug shots ever posted on the internet. I would have preferred something more sedate but no need to muzzle one of the news medias brightest lights...you!
