The number of callers to KC's Action Center who hang up in frustration has tripled.
Factor in the number of people who would never call in the first place and I think it's CLEAR this town is losing the fight for more community cooperation against local crime.
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--

Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Since it is almost impossible to find department phone numbers on their web pages - the City Manager in his anal retentive lust for power and control has everything run through the Action Center - which he has now brought to a grinding halt just as he has most departments in City Hall. He may be lot's of things but Wayne Cauthen is not a manager.
ReplyDeleteOh please, you wouldn't even know how many people call and get through and not get through BEFORE the Action Center. Seems to me a transparent system dealing with fewer staff and higher call volumn. Of course if you want to go back to pre-Action Center, good luck having any record of your call happening let alone not getting transferred to numerous other dept. in a daily game of passing the buck.
