DJ Jazzy Jeff Denies Racism Claims!!!

The AP recently published an important story regarding the controversy which has consumed Kansas City for the entire week:

DJ Jazzy Jeff: Kansas City incident not about race

Sadly . . .

AS OF THIS WRITING THE STAR HAS BURIED THE STORY AND HAS YET TO LINK IT ON THE FRONT PAGE BECAUSE IT DIRECTLY CONTRADICTS THE STUPID ASSERTIONS OF TWO OPINION COLUMNS PUT ON THEIR FRONT PAGE THIS WEEK!!!

I can only hope that my humble offering of the link will encourage the so-called paper of record to give the report a better showcase in order to highlight the fact that the blathering of their "journalists" has been incorrect according to the people directly involved.

The same goes for The Pitch as they have benefited from misguided hipster angst in a case where not even the alleged "victim" of Cordish will call this faux controversy a racial issue.

KANSAS CITY HIPSTERS AND COLUMNISTS AND NADIA PFLAUM HAVE BEEN CAUGHT RACE BAITING ONCE AGAIN!!!

This is what happens when middle-class elitists start meddling in the affairs of the minority community without really talking to anyone in order to gauge the level of COMMUNITY AND NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERN.

Leaders in Kansas City's diverse communities care about the murder rate, Kansas City Schools, gentrification, heathcare and economic disparity . . . DJ Jazzy Jeff is only a priority to idiots looking to increase the standing of dying institutions like the Star and The Pitch.

Two of the biggest Print Media outlets lost a lot of that so-called "Journalistic Credibility" this week in their efforts to play to a mob of hipsters shouting misinformed drunken cries of racism. Rather than offering an accurate representation of community sentiment, both rags published nothing but sensationalism and manufactured "news" that was simply social media gossip related to a drunken party that was interrupted.

  4. Despite what Eric Holder desperately wants us to believe, racism in America is in its last stages of life. People just don't believe that shit anymore. Anyone who tells you that white supremacists are coming to get you is trying to sell you something.

  5. Yes, we are clearly almost finished with racism. I mean, you hardly ever hear about it anymore.

  9. Gotta love this quote: "As a DJ I am never 100 percent in charge of the sound," Jazzy Jeff said. "The sound levels are controlled by someone at the sound board of the venue."

What is it that this guy does again?

Is his news cycle appearence almost over now? Please?

  10. Okay so there was a contract. Since I guess it wasn't in invisible ink could someone produce it and quash this mess? Does it say Top 40 only? If so it might be an issue of someone (Cordish management or Jazzy) not really knowing what the other meant by Top 40.

  11. P&L should stick to oldies from the 50's and 60's and put in a malt shop.

No one gets their blood pressure up about a sock hop!
