No Joke: KC Red Light Summary

The Red Light Numbers so far:

The KCMO PD issued 122 citations in Feb. and 500 in March.

Here's a look at the Police stats . . . Thank you to the very hard working TKC Tipster on this one . . . Local news had something on this last night but seeing the way KCPD looks at it adds a different perspective . . . I think.

I have to say that I've been driving a lot more carefully as of late . . . And now that these red light cams are a fact of life . . . As somebody who runs around Midtown a lot I notice that there are an abundance of red light cameras soon to be focused on my stomping grounds . . . Because I'm concerned about the safety of my fellow Northland residents I can only hope red light cameras are in store for that part of KC too . . .

We'll see . . . Drive safely.

  1. The contractor that installed the red light camera and monitors them gets nearly 50% of the revenue I think?

  9. It's all about safety.

    Okay, and also about money.

    Well, safety and money.

    But mostly money.

Oh alright, it has nothing to do with safety.

That's why a violation is a skyhigh fine and no points.

    Thank you, drive through.
