They're off and running . . . Really.
The Funkhouser Recall Folks are announcing that they've reached 10,000 signatures.
The KC Hispanic News has a great article featuring Charlie Lona . . . The headline pretty much sums it up: ‘It’s the easiest Petition I’ve ever done,’ Lona says
As of now things are looking good for the recall organizers . . . Almost as good as Maria Sharapova in a bikini . . . Almost.
I'd like to volley my balls into her court.
ReplyDeleteI would say you're jumping to conclusions Tony.
ReplyDeleteBwahahahahahahahaha!
I haven't seen them at Westport Sunfresh. I feel neglected.
ReplyDeleteThey are hateful people like most of them on this blog. They will fail. Still the hate that they spew harms good people. Gloria had a breakdown and is now receiving care and it is this blog and the hateful people on it that hurt her. I hope you all burn in hell.
ReplyDeleteoh please stop with your bullshit. Gloria is fine, for somebody with who hates shoes.
ReplyDeleteI only wish I still lived in KC and could sign. I moved out because I think the city took one giant step back with the Funktacular Funkster.
ReplyDeleteI will pray for Gloria's recovery but I believe that whatever mental illness that led to the breakdown was the one that led to her believing she could muscle her way in as co-mayor in the first place. If Funk and wife did not fully understand the job description and limitations of being mayor and the city's first lady then he shouldn't have run for the office. No where has it ever said an unpaid volunteer could be in charge of making major decisions for the city without oversight. No where has it said that a person could make racially and sexually insensitive remarks in the workplace and not be criticized. In fact there are lawa against that and lawsuits are filed whereever it takes place (KC or New York-a reference to Gloria saying she was just acting according to her NYC roots). Maybe it's not too late for her to claim insanity in the civil suit and push this thing to a resolution.
ReplyDeleteSo it's taken about three weeks to get to the halfway point, and we're supposed to get excited about this..? I thought there was about a 60% chance they'd reach their goal.. My biggest concern isn't Funkhouser keeping his job as much as how much money and time we'll waste..
ReplyDelete"Gloria is FRAGILE" Those were Mark's words during the campaign. Yeah, she's a hot mess. Always was, always will be. Just ask A. Bavley and family. So much stuff to come out at trial or if Mark tries to fight the recall initiative. Can we pay him to leave? It would be money well spent.
ReplyDeleteGloria has gone batshit whacko! The word is out.
