
Here are a couple of local news stories that make everyone feel less safe and realize that sometimes people can be really slimy . . .
A new low on a KCK street corner, which is a dubious achievement in and of itself: A stranger approached an 11-year-old girl with special needs at her school bus stop in Kansas City, Kan.
Sadly, Asian toddlers who make the merchandise at this mega retailer aren't the only ones in danger: Police in Lee's Summit are looking for the man who reportedly assaulted an 11-year-old boy inside a Wal-Mart bathroom.
And the fact that there are people out there that would do harm to youngsters is not only scary but also sad because ardent local news watchers realize these kind of stories are commonplace.
It rubs the lotion on its skin, or else it gets the hose again.
