Kansas City Morning Link Layout

Just a bit of what I'm reading this morning from mainstream media:

  • Wishing a speedy recovery to a KC Institution: Kansas City music legend Tony DiPardo is recovering after surgery to repair a broken hip.

  • In local, illegal computer nasty news: Man secretly videotaped girls, women

  • Kansas City streets violence continues: One person was found shot near 30th Street and Agnes Avenue in Kansas City.

  • Maybe, just maybe if the people from this neighborhood supported better politicos for the past 40 years . . . The Sewer situation might be somewhat better: Ward Parkway Sewage Standoff

  • Light Rail will never die: Light-rail supporters appeal KC Council's repeal of 2006 vote

  • Harling's Liquor License pulled for two days

  • Car Chase Co-op: Kansas City and Independence police combined to catch two suspects in a stolen car Wednesday night.

  • A Jennifer England photo gallery just might a little bit too classy for you d-bags

    1. Maybe Harling's will have time to clean the bathrooms, eh?

    2. Harlings better not clean up a damn thing. That place is the greatest bar in KC. Stevie Ray Vaughn played there before he ever got famous. A flyer of the show is on display at UMKC.

    3. Clay has found another sucker to spend time running after windmills.
If they were really interested in the initiative petition as a legal process they would change the charter to reflect the need for legal review not Council permission, but they are only interested in riding a train.

    4. If Harlings would just mop once in a while. Do you know what it takes to be shut down in Kansas City. I mean they didn't shut down Italian Gardens when they found a dead animal floating in the water in the basement.

    6. White rail is a dream that K and K and C have talked about until their brains will not let it go.

Such a waste of talent. The Street car guys are just as bad they want small trains instead of big trains.
