KMBC: "Kansas City liquor stores could soon begin selling wine by the drink under an idea now before city officials. If approved, liquor stores could apply for expanded liquor licenses that would allow them to sell single servings of wine of up to 5 ounces to be consumed inside the store." And while I'm sure this is aimed at high class, overpriced establishments . . . Somewhere there has to be a loophole that will make an enterprising businessman a fortune from the misery of other hobos and connoisseurs of bum wine.

This reeks of Steve Bough.
ReplyDeleteThis has to be so that the Lukas Liquor Wine Bar can be incorporated back into the liquor store a bit better.
ReplyDeleteThey do that in Japan and you can get real drunk and mess up the place cuz you paid tax to drink on the premises. We are going to make this Kansas CITY ONE NASTY PLACE.
ReplyDeleteI always laugh when I walk into CVS on Friday and they're doing wine and cheese tastings. "Crack open a few more of those lunchables and a another case of Ripple!"
