TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY PAYS FOR GLORIA SQUITIRO'S PROPAGANDA ON FUNK'S FRONT PORCH!!!

It doesn't matter how far Mayor Funky's career sinks . . . He's letting Gloria take the helm of his sinking ship of an Administration.

Local media decided not to pick this up . . . But there's a great many people who have a problem with Kansas City paying for Gloria Squitiro's sounding board.

Last week, KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS tell us, that city attorney Galen Beaufort informed some Council people that Kansas City was picking up the tab for "Funk's Front Porch."

The Mayor's blog also receives free advertising on Channel 2 and the electronic newsletter is put out by KC IT services - Paid for by Kansas City, of course.

This is all well and good . . . If GLORIA Squitiro - A WOMAN ACCUSED OF USING RACIAL SLURS AT CITY HALL WASN'T ALLOWED TO WRITE A SCREED EVERY WEEK IN SUPPORT OF MAYOR FUNKY!!!

To be fair, it's not much money . . . The Typead blog comes in at only around $14 a year . . . I think the free advertising and services from Kansas City is a far bigger concern..

This is really an argument on "principle" . . . And I think most Internet denizens might wonder:

WHY SHOULD KANSAS CITY PAY FOR GLORIA SQUITIRO'S BLOGGING?

Especially when her latest rant runs counter to the Mayor's previous statements and is obviously nothing more than propaganda:

The Mayor was given a heads up a few weeks ago about the push poll that was conducted and written about in yesterday’s newspaper. Apparently, the pollster asked Funk’s major supporter leading questions about the Mayor, some City Council members, the City Manager and also about potential candidates for the next Mayoral election. Yesterday, the Mayor was asked to comment on the poll, but he never has too much to contribute to this type of juvenile politicking.

First of all, it's nice to see that Mayor Funky and his people are in such a reactionary mode that they are unable to do anything without fighting off most people in Kansas City who want them gone.

Secondly, these silly statements don't take into account just last year Mayor Funky called Pat Gray at a news conference "the dean of KC pollsters" as he praised his poll on regional light rail referring to it as "solid research."

Mayor Funky is spinning out of control and that kind of explains why he would give a "State of the City" speech on a SUNDAY -Yes, I'm sure other Mayor's might have done it before but not in the middle of the worst financial crisis Kansas City has seen since the great depression.

Throughout the course of his tenure Mayor Funky has shown a lack of consideration for ethics rules . . . Sadly, having Kansas City pay to promote his wife's blogging is a new low.
