Nasty Kansas City Eating Out

Ew . . . Here's another reason to hate take out places in Kansas City:

KCMO Health Dept. Shuts Down 2 Restaurants

On the bright side . . . I've recently skipped eating at both of these places:

A customer filed a complaint against a south Kansas City Waid's restaurant Monday, according to a health department press release.

An inspection found dead roaches and mouse droppings in the kitchen and storage areas of the restaurant near West 103rd and State Line Road.

Kicking it with old school coffee places just doesn't pay on off . . . Here's more:

"A health department inspector found problems Monday at the Pizza Hut, 10147 Wornall Road.

The inspector ran water in the sink to test the drains in the restaurant's three-compartment kitchen and the kitchen floor drains backed up, according to the press release."

Conclusion: South KC Takeout is sorta nasty or at least not up to the level of Golden Ghetto Fast Food . . . For shame.
