Not much changes in Kansas City . . . But I'm still surprised that cold weather didn't temper hot tempers outside of a local bar last night. What's worse is that with this town spotlighting the P&L District and other fancy drinking locations - The fleabag bars of Northeast are still jumping (and stabbing) . . . Sometimes it pays to cater to a demographic, I guess.
The only thing that really troubles me about MULTIPLE PEOPLE STABBED OUTSIDE OF A KANSAS CITY BAR (!!!) is that I thought Gerry's Silver Slipper was a strip club or at least back in the day it was the last stop for local ladies working the pole who might have had gunshot wound scars or visible track marks . . . Put simply, the place is a legendary dive . . . But I didn't know they had made minor adjustments.
Anyhoo . . . What's important here is to realize that crappy bars are the best place to get killed in Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteLooks like this could spell the end for that place. They were cited last year and put on a year's probation, with the condition that any further incidents (such as what happened this morning) could result in their liquor license being revoked.
