I'm really tired of writing about X-mas but I just highlight yet another destructive aspect of the holiday. The flammable tree carcass that has killed at least two people I know (seriously):

Solution:
Recycle your X-mas Tree
Or, start celebrating Hanukkah because those candles are probably easier to control.
