JoCo and The U.S. losing confidence!!!

I have a rule that's probably racist but it has always served me well . . .

When serious white dudes start to panic, then it's really time pay attention.

Earlier this year when Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said that his faith in the free market system had been somewhat mistaken I understood that whatever the direction of the global financial crisis . . . It wasn't going to be over any time soon.

Now it looks like harsh times have hit Kansas City where it counts (i.e. the upper class) . . . To wit, the Golden Ghetto is getting down about the economy:

The wost thing about this isn't the suffering of the petty bourgeois, which is actually kind of funny.

The reason that hash times in the Golden Ghetto matters is because so much of the economy in KC Proper is based on catering to these debt-ridden scumbags. Even worse, Mayor Funky is still carelessly floating the idea of regionalism and hoping against hope that JoCo d-bags will want to pay higher taxes just to help out with the bill for empty museums that KC unwisely funded.

Let's not forget that KC is on the hook for the P&L District and so many other worthless "cultural attractions" that aren't pulling their weight . . . Now it looks like counting on the upper-class from JoCo was a tragic mistake since that community is mostly scared to death and trying to cut back. For far too long, this town has been a "city that works" to entertain the horrible people of JoCo and now that their money has dried up . . . It's clear that building museums, stadiums (like Mayor Funky's soccer experiment) and funding other attractions to lure those vampires into town was a dangerous strategy that ultimately backfired.
