Truly, times are tough when even local Girl Scouts are forced to make massive cutbacks to the programs they provide. A recent story from Time.com is even more depressing because it involves taking ponies away from the Girl Scouts along with news that November National Cookie Month was kind of a bust. It could be time for a Girl Scout bailout . . . Which I wouldn't be opposed to altogether not only because they deserve it more than loan shark banks gambling on risky mortgages but also I think there might be some delicious thin mints in it for everybody.

I'm surprised that cookie month was a bust. My little cutie pie was selling them and she didn't encounter too many "no thank you"s.
ReplyDeleteI ordered my thin mints this Thursday. Will wait for another GS to call and order more. When the girls set up outside of Cosentino's I will pick up boxes with a smile. Never too many thin mints!
